If you want effective, easy to implement speech strategies and resources, you're in the right place.
I have been a practicing SLP for 11 years serving in an elementary school from 2012 to the present as well starting my own private practice in 2023. In the schools, I work with students in Kindergarten through 5th grade with varying exceptionalities. In my private practice, I serve children ages pre-k through teenagers. I love all of the different areas I get to work in including vocabulary, fluency, AAC, but I have found a true passion in treating severe articulation and phonological delays and disorders. I enjoy researching new techniques and strategies to apply in therapy, but the best part is watching the amazing results happen at the therapy table. There’s nothing like it!
I now know what it’s like to feel prepared when I walk into my therapy room on Monday morning and be ready to tackle the day.
But it wasn't always this way...
There was a time when I was more of a fly by the seat of my pants kind of therapist. I always started the year with a good plan and the perfect strategies, but as the year went on and some approaches worked while others didn’t, I didn’t know what to change or how to change. And I definitely didn’t have the time to figure it all out. But thanks to some wonderful mentors in my life, some life-altering PDs, and inspiring SLP bloggers, I found my way. Now I’m here to help you find yours too!
Working in the schools is hard work.
Large caseload numbers, endless paperwork, constantly changing expectations – all make it more challenging. So let’s support each other and make it easier for us all.
I can help make your therapy planning easier, give you a place to start with some of those tricky articulation cases, and hopefully give you some new tips and tricks to pull out in a pinch.
Let me help you!
